2011-12-05 Faralli & Mazzanti teases Mugello - a mid-engined supercar, shows new logo

Following previous early announcement of the new mid-engined supercar codenamed M/03 (first* model with such configuration), F&M by Mazzanti Automobili (previously known as Carrozzeria Faralli & Mazzanti) issued the following press release and teaser images of their third supercar - the Mugello -below:
F&M by Mazzanti Automobili is proud to present the first teaser images of the latest creation of the brand, the new supercar called ‘Mugello’
“Mugello” is the first mid-engine car of F&M: designed together by Luca Mazzanti and Zsolt Tarnok (F&M chief designer), it will be produced from January 2012 in the new atelier in Pontedera (PI), in limited production which will not exceed 5 examples a year.
Until the end of 2009 the creations of F&M were projected and built inside the atelier of Faralli Restauri. From 2010 the increasing numbers of restoration projects of classic cars and the new projects under the brand F&M lead to the decision to separate these activities in two ateliers, with strong connection and partnership with one another: Walter Faralli manages together with ‘maestro’ Mario the restoration family company, while Luca Mazzanti dedicates himself exclusively to the development of F&M projects through his own company: Mazzanti Automobili.
On the occasion of presenting the new creation “F&M Mugello”, Luca Mazzanti is delighted to present the new logo “F&M By Mazzanti Automobili” completely renewed as well: the restyling was suggested by more reasons, of which the most important is the new and more modern look of the new creation which surely will influence the design of the future cars of F&M too.
