2011-08-03 Delahaye USA unveils “Bella Figura” Type 57S Coupe and new Boattail

Carbon Fiber & Aluminum “Bella Figura” Type 57S Coupe
Following three years of intensive development, DELAHAYE USA of Long Valley, New Jersey, USA, is proud to present a new carbon fiber tribute to Jean Bugatti and his elegant Type 57S.
Much more than a replica, this artistically stylized, stretched and widened coupe comfortably fits two six-foot-six occupants. While respecting the classic Bugatti look and feel, the Bella Figura is built to modern standards in all other respects, including air conditioning, power brakes, steering, and windows, choice of interior and exterior finishes, and modern affordable engines selected to suit 21st century driving conditions.
The Bella Figura is designed and built in the USA (an alternative UK-built polished aluminum body is also available). Cars are available in right or left hand drive and in four configurations:
1. Turnkey: complete finished vehicle.
2. Turnkey minus: complete less engine and transmission (an importing advantage outside USA)
3. Roller: body on chassis with wheels
4. Component: body, chassis, and all basic components plus customer options for assembly by customer or contracted engineer.
The Bella Figura will make its West Coast debut at THE QUAIL. A MOTORSPORTS GATHERING August 19 at the Quail Lodge Resort & Golf Club in Carmel, CA and August 20-21 at the ROLEX MONTEREY MOTORSPORTS REUNION at Laguna Seca in Salinas, CA. There will also be a DELAHAYE USA stand at Pebble Beach Retro Auto, where a scale model of the Bella Figura will be on display.
