BORN OUT OF PASSION

Shelby SuperCars develops its marques to provide unparalleled performance for the most discerning supercar drivers.

While other manufactures seek marginal performance gains for massive sacrifice in the driver’s experience, SSC does not forget that above all, a supercar must stimulate the senses each time it is driven. From the sound of the door opening, to the awakening of the engine, and the overall feel of being in control, it is SSC’s fastidious approach to design that enables a distinctive visceral experience for the supercar driver.

SSC believes a supercar should not be too easy to drive where it is boring or too raw that it is unsafe. Striking the balance to enable an exciting yet predictable, intuitive yet challenging, and breathtaking yet serene driving experience is SSC’s mantra.

Less Talk, More Action

SSC refers to their owners as drivers. In a world where most performance cars do more of the driving than the person positioned behind the steering wheel, SSC heeds the inner desire of every driver to be the master behind the controls. Knowing that it’s not a car’s electronics that are driving but rather the acute coordination of you, the driver should be expected.

Driving with purpose, skill, and focus, you, the driver, understand that whether on road or track your actions speak for themselves.

SSC prides itself knowing the driver of their supercars are top notch drivers, leaders, and trendsetters... Are you an SSC Driver?

The Next Generation

The next generation SSC is the marriage of cutting edge technology and revolutionary design backed by 10 years of SSC’s proven engineering success.

Holding titles “World’s Fastest Production Car”, taking Road & Track’s slalom record previously held by the Ferrari Enzo, and being called the most comfortable driving supercars, SSC’s Ultimate Aero is the foundation for the next generation SSC.

Coupled with a design already touted as “game-changing”, the next generation SSC will set the benchmark for supercars to come.

Design Ideology

Designed from the perspective of a true driver without compromise, every touch, smell, sound, and feel of an SSC communicates to the driver with purpose.

Every part of an SSC serves function before form. And with the belief that supercars are a catalyst for emotion, SSC focuses strongly on designing a comprehensively sensual driving experience. The way the door sounds as it is opened, the exhaust note, the signature wastegates of the turbos, the scent of the interior, the touch of the steering wheels, the way light reflects off the body, and every other element of the supercar is designed to purposefully and appropriately speak to the driver.

There is no form without function.

Performance Ideology

An avant-garde approach to performance allows SSC to create without limitations. SSC does not design towards predetermined specifications. Instead, SSC has learned that by designing with goals in mind, the ability to design the best possible driver’s supercar is possible.

Goals such as, the world’s fastest and best handling are maxims that SSC approaches with ferocious decree. SSC is not satisfied when it has reached these maxims in comparison to others but rather only when SSC knows it has exceeded what is currently thought to be unattainable.

SSC lets other compete while set ting the benchmark.

Performance Figures

Evolutionary succession for SSC is not revolutionary. At SSC, it is believed that unless radical change is necessary or appropriate, it should not occur.

The next generation SSC starts with, the Ultimate Aero, a supercar that has benefitted from 10 years of engineering excellence. SSC has utilized bespoke and available high-technology to evolve the Ultimate Aero into the next generation.

The Ultimate Aero (SSC’s first generation supercar) boasts a zero to 60 mph time of 2.78 second, covers a quarter mile in 9.9s at 144 mph, grips the asphalt at 1.03 g’s, weaves the slalom at 73.1 mph, weights 2,900 lbs, and outputs 1,287 bhp.

The next generation ups the ante by incorporating new and advanced technology to evolve the experience and performance.

Beyond Marginal Gains…The new generation weights approximately 2,700 lbs., is powered by an SSC designed billet aluminum V-8 twin-turbo producing 1,350 bhp equating to a weight to power ratio of 2:1. And with a carbon fiber chassis (driver’s cab and subframes), Formula 1 suspension technology, and extreme aerodynamics.

The next generation is a serious driver’s supercar.

Is SSC the right brand for you?

Over the past 10 years SSC has learned that its drivers come from all walks of life but share common uniqueness.

SSC drivers: Are trendsetters, who only acquire the best, and make decisions based on what fits their needs and wants regardless of peer influence. They are confident and influential.

Own multiple cars for different purposes and who choose SSC as their special supercar that provides them a rewarding experience every time it’s driven.

Know the difference between driving a car and having a car drive for you. And although their garage has cars that do both, they purchase an SSC knowing it is the crown jewel of their collection. A supercar that is equal parts rewarding, thrilling.
