GENEVA 2014 - nanoFLOWCELL Quant e-Sportlimousine announced

A concept car known as Koenigsegg NLV Quant was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 2009. The main idea behind it was to create a luxury high performance solar-electric super sedan.  It was just a 1:1 scale model presented on the stand, however a year later a partnering Swiss company NLV Solar AG returned to the show and presented a fully-equipped futuristic Quant under their own name. The car featured huge gull-wing doors, carbonfiber bodywork with thin-film photovoltaic solar coating. It was to be driven by a 800hp, 1500 Nm power aggregate. Proposed technical specifications for this electric car were more than mind-blowing. It should have been good enough for a top speed of 377 km/h and acceleration to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. Later that year, the Quant was demonstrated for automobile aficionados in Monaco. However, since then nothing was heard about the company or the model. Until now.

The company was renamed to nanoFLOWCELL AG in 2013 and is now located in Vaduc, Liechtenstein. Its proprietor Nunzio La Vecchia and his team aim to reintroduce the Quant at the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show this March. Moreover, the car is completely reworked and redesigned. Its new name is Quant e-Sportlimousine. Exact information and specifications of this development prototype will be unveiled before the world premiere at Geneva.
